GHK-Cu is a naturally-occurring copper tripeptide first isolated from human plasma. Research models show it delivers Cu²⁺ ions to copper-dependent enzymes (lysyl oxidase chief among them) that crosslink collagen and elastin fibers, producing denser, more resilient extracellular matrix. It modulates gene expression broadly — downregulating NF-κB inflammatory programs while upregulating antioxidant and repair pathways. Reconstituted solution is characteristically blue (copper salt in solution, not contamination).
